At St Peter Chanel, all team sports under the SPC banner are coordinated via the school Sports Coordinator, and all teams are coached and managed by volunteer parents and supporters.
The success of the sporting opportunities we offer relies on dedicated community support.
SPC offers sport for Years 1 - 6.
Year 7 & 8 students play for Saints United. (In spring/summer Yr 7/8s can play for SPC in some sports).
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
When you register your child for a sport at SPC you are registering them for a 2-Term season.
* Spring/Summer season is Terms 1 & 4:
SPC teams playing in Term 1 automatically roll over to Term 4.
If there are spaces available in teams, new players will be invited to join for Term 4.
Spring/summer sports available are basketball, splash polo, netball & touch.
For Term 1, club registrations close early-mid-January while we are all on holiday so our school registrations need to close before the end of Term 4 of the previous year.
* Winter season is Terms 2 & 3:
SPC teams playing in Term 2 automatically roll over into Term 3. (Except Yr 1/2 netball which only plays in Term 2).
Winter sports available are basketball & netball.
Only register if your child's availability is guaranteed for game days.
If your child wants to play, make sure you register early.
Fees are on a Term by Term basis unless otherwise stated.
When you register your child for sport you are committing to pay the registration fee.
Remember to register before the close-off date. Please read our SPC Sports Code of Conduct - the link is on the left of this page.
If insufficient entries or parent volunteers are received we will be unable to enter teams.
REGISTRATION FEES
Invoices will be emailed to you early in each Term and are due for payment within 7 days.
If you withdraw your child from the team, unless there is a valid reason (change of mind is not one), you will be charged the full registration fee. Thank you for your understanding.
Teams will require a coach and manager in order to be confirmed.
Fees listed are indicative only and will be confirmed once teams are finalised.
