SPLASH POLO
Sandra Elliott-Brown, spcsecretary2020@gmail.com
Splash polo is the junior version of water polo and is played in a mid-depth pool (ie not deep), where students can stand on the bottom of the pool.
Splash polo is for Yrs 3-6.
Yrs 7-8 play water polo for Saints United.
Team has between 6 and 11 players.
Where & When:
Splash polo is played during Terms 1 and 4.
Teams practice one afternoon a week at school. Practice day will be determined by the coach.
Games are played on Sunday afternoons between 12noon and 6pm. Venue changes during season due to availability.
A parent coach/manager is required for each team.
An umpire is also required – the umpire cannot be the team coach/manager.
All gear is provided, students just need suitable swimwear.
If practice is held at a parent's house or school - from $45 per player
If practice is held at Waterworld - from $80 per player (fundraising to lower player fees is an option)
This fee includes the club fee and all pool practice fees. If practices are at Waterworld this unfortunately makes this one of the higher-priced sports we offer.
Fees are indicative only and will likely change depending on updated association fees and player numbers.
