St Peter Chanel Catholic School is situated in private, quiet, well-established grounds to the north of Hamilton city.  

We are located at 5 Vardon Road, Hamilton where residential and commercial areas sit side by side.  Our catchment area covers approximately six square kilometres covering the Beerescourt, St Andrews, Pukete, Forest Lake, Te Rapa and Maeroa suburbs.

St Peter Chanel Catholic School is a co-educational primary and intermediate educational facility catering for Year 0 to Year 8 students. We are also a Roman Catholic Integrated School which means that not only do we conform to certain educational standards set by the Ministry of Education but we also offer our students a positive living and learning environment created by our special spiritual character. 

Our school community encourages our children to feel secure in the school environment and aims to encourage them to develop a sense of pride in both themselves and the school.  Our students are respected for their individuality and in return, it is also expected that they will respect others.  

We promote opportunities for our students to make decisions, be leaders and participate in a range of activities to the best of their ability.  It is our aim to create an environment in which children enjoy learning.
